Over the course of the past few weeks we have all witnessed the price of steel jump whopping 10% in cost. This increase in price is due to the panic from both the UK and members of the EU caused by uncertainty after we voted to leave Europe. People were more cautious about trading which caused the importation of steel to drop dramatically making it a much rarer or rather a more difficult metal to obtain within the UK.
Undoubtedly, for many companies this has put strain on the idea of expanding as 10% is a huge amount; if you consider for instance; a ?50,000 job becoming ?55,000 or a ?500,000 becoming ?550,000.
