You need to ensure that your storage space is specific to your requirements. Pallet racking is not a ?one size fits all? solution. You need it tailored to what your business needs and how it works. There are a few things which you need to consider when choosing your system. Firstly you need to let us know the dimensions of your warehouse. We will then be able to work out how tall the uprights can be and therefore work out how much storage you can have. We can ensure you are utilising all the space possible to really take advantage of your warehouse space.
Secondly you need to decide if you will be using forklifts or another kind of handling truck. If so we will need to know this so the aisle width can be determined. We can then work out how many rows of racking your warehouse can accommodate.
Another option you could choose is a mezzanine floor. You could have your racking on the floor then above that get a mezzanine floor installed in a section of the warehouse. This ensures that there is a safe place for staff upstairs and out of the way of the picking depot downstairs. This also means that you do not need the space in your warehouse for offices. They can literally be built in to your solution!
