So I have been doing some research on pallet racking and second hand pallet racking seem to get so much flack! Working in the industry I really can?t understand why!
There seems to be the same reasons over and over again, but when you think about it and think of the benefits of secondhand? it really is a no brainier to buy used solution.
The first reason I have seen is that you get a manufacturer?s guarantee with new racking and not secondhand. Used pallet racking is firstly a tried and tested solution so there is as much of a chance of something breaking as there is a new solution. At Advanced we would not buy the racking in to sell to a customer if it was bad quality as safety is our number one priority.
Another reason I have seen is that new racking is designed to make best use of your space. Well actually it can! We can mix and match different components to really make a system bespoke to you. We also have the ability to give you the best parts from different manufacturers to really make the best solution.
The third one I have seen is that used racking may need expensive amendments. In regards to the safety aspect, again we would not choose a solution if we believed it to be unsafe. As mentioned previously, we also have a team of expert installers to really ensure that it is put up properly so you do not need to make any changes. When we give you a quote for used pallet racking, any amendments which we need to do to it is included in the quote but you can still save up to 50%… who wouldn?t want that!
If you still have any questions about secondhand pallet racking, please don?t hesitate to give us a call on 0800 345 7088 or please email sales@advanced-handling.co.uk
